EXPERTISE
A sales associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine, Dick Bailey has been affiliated with the company since 1985, semi-retiring in 2005. His distinguished sales career began with a position with Proctor & Gamble. From 1963 to 1985, he was president and majority stockholder of Bay Brokerage Company, Inc., a food brokerage company with offices in Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, South Carolina.
EXPERIENCE
Dick primarily focuses on industrial development - encompassing site selection, construction, leasing, and the eventual sale of income producing property. Dick has been instrumental in the development of several business and industrial parks in Spartanburg, Greenville, and Bluffton. His development of several "incubator type" office/warehouse projects have created a consistent stream of clients for larger buildings as they have outgrown their existing space. He has helped numerous clients with site selection and build-to-suit situations.
EDUCATION
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Dick is recognized as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), an honor attained by only 6% of real estate professionals in the United States. Active in the community, Dick is a Past Chairman for the Boys Home of the South and the Holly Tree Country Club, and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. |
