He has served as the President of the Board of Directors of Gateway House, Past President of the Greenville Board of Realtors, and Past Chairman of the City of Greenville Planning and Zoning Commission. George has been recognized as a Greenville Board of Realtors' Realtor of the Year and was one of the first brokers in the state to earn the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, an honor attained by only 6% of real estate professionals in the nation.
