Jack W. Newton
EXPERTISE
A sales associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine, Jack Newton joined the company in 1997. Prior to that he served as president of Coldwell Banker Newton, Inc. for fifteen years. He joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine in October 1997 when his company merged with Caine Real Estate Group. Jack has been active in the real estate industry since 1956. His first eighteen years in the business were spent in mortgage banking in both residential and commercial lending. He then became involved in commercial real estate brokerage and later formed a residential brokerage group. During his career, he has organized and syndicated in excess of $90 million in partnerships consisting of apartments and health care centers. Jack is located in the Spartanburg office.

EDUCATION
A graduate of The Citadel and Northwestern University’s School of Mortgage Bankers, Jack is an active member of his community. Over the years, he has served as former President of the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce, President of the Mortgage Banker Association of the Carolinas, Chairman of the Spartanburg Planning Commission, Chairman of the City of Spartanburg Housing Authority, and member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. In addition, he has served as Vice President of C. Douglas Wilson & Co. (1956-1974), President of United Way of Spartanburg County, President of Spartanburg Jaycees, Chairman of the South Carolina Education Television Commission, member of the Sertoma Club, and Director of Spartanburg Boy’s Home. Jack is a current member and Past President of the Spartanburg Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service.
