EXPERTISE
Hugh Durham joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine in January, 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he was President of Coldwell Banker Hugh Durham & Associates in Anderson, SC for 33 years. Hugh has more than 35 years experience in real estate. He has managed the daily activities of a real estate company including planning, business development, and marketing. He is dedicated to providing competent professional service to his clients. Hugh is located in the Anderson office.
EXPERIENCE
Hugh has experience in all areas of real estate, including residential and commercial sales, development, and representation sellers, buyers, landlords, and tenants. He is a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser specializing in estate appraisals. For the past 10 years, he has developed a real estate auction service with a local auction firm. He has owned and developed various types of property. Prior to beginning his real estate career, Hugh was an agriculture teacher at Seneca, York, and McDuffie high schools. His varied experience enables him to assist clients in making important decisions in their real estate transactions. Mr. Durham has developed a treasured relationship with clients throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. His philosopy is “Give Service with Honesty and Integrity.”
EDUCATION
Hugh graduated from Clemson University in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education and a Minor in Economics and a Masters in 1965. In addition, Hugh is a graduate of the Realtor’s Institute and has taken extensive course work in all areas of real estate. He has a CRB designation. In the past, Hugh has been president of Anderson Association of Realtors and Realtor of the Year. He helped organize the Anderson MLS service. Hugh has also served the community as Chairman of Anderson County Board of Education for 10 years, Chairman of Anderson County Land Use Commission for 4 years, and as a member of Anderson County Assessor’s Board for 3 years. He also helped organize the Whitefield Fire Department. Hugh is currently a member of the Tri-County Tech Foundation Board, the Professional Standard Community with Anderson Realtor Association, Whitefield Fire Department Board of Directors ,and serves as a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Whitefield Baptist Church.
